Lia Czarnik
LICENSED CLINICAL PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR
Evelia (Lia) is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who brings a thoughtful, grounded, and compassionate presence to her work with adults. She creates a space where clients feel safe to explore what they’re experiencing—both emotionally and physically—as they work through anxiety, depression, and patterns that feel difficult to shift. Lia earned her master’s degree from National Louis University in Chicago and has experience working in both private practice and school settings over the last six years.

Lia is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and uses it to help clients better understand their thoughts, body sensations, and emotional responses, while supporting the development of more adaptive beliefs. She integrates EMDR with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing, always approaching therapy from a strength-based, person-centered, relational perspective.

Shaped by a multicultural upbringing and time spent living abroad, Lia offers a nonjudgmental, affirming, and open-minded therapeutic space. Before becoming a therapist, she worked as a language teacher and may incorporate writing, art, movement, and other creative tools when helpful.
